New Electronic Locking System Upgrade

New Electronic Locking System Upgrade image
Flinders Council is excited to announce the upcoming installation of a new electronic locking system across several key community facilities, including:
  • Lady Barron Hall (and the Community Gym),
  • Holloway Park,
  • FAEC,
  • Whitemark Community Gym, and
  • Emita Hall.

This upgrade, sheduled for first week in December, will make accessing these buildings much easier and more convenient. By eliminating the hassle of managing physical keys, users will be able to enter facilities either through a smartphone app or by purchasing an access card, offering a more streamlined and secure experience for everyone.

Once the new locks are installed, if you're hiring a space, you will still need to visit or phone the Council office to get set up. Our front desk staff can guide you through the process of downloading and using the app or, if you prefer, purchasing an access card for easy entry. This streamlined process will make it simpler for regular users and occasional hirers alike to enjoy these community spaces. Alternatively you can follow these steps prior to speaking with them: JustIN APP Instructions.

We believe this new system will enhance the overall experience for all users by improving security and offering greater flexibility. With access at your fingertips, whether via your phone or an access card, it will be easier than ever to enjoy Flinders Island’s fantastic community facilities.
