Join in the School Holiday Program
The Flinders Council School Holiday Program is open to all young residents and visitors 6yrs - 16yrs
How to Participate in Program:
To participate you will need to fill out a 'Permissions Form' for each child for the 2025 Program - Online Permission Form
Alternatively, contact the Community Development Team for your registration forms by emailing community@flinders.tas.gov.au or via phone on 6359 5001
Please note, some activities may provide or require transport, so check when you register. Please note some activities require participants to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Council provides financial and staffing support for the Holiday Program, and receives valuable assistance from a number of local organisations including the Flinders Island Aboriginal Association, Flinders Island District High School.
To help improve the School Holiday Program every year, Council welcomes and encourages suggestions from its young community members. Please contact us if you have an idea or suggestion for future activities, or if you would like to contribute or volunteer.
2025 Autumn Program
Easter Bonnet Making - 15th April 2025
With the Lady Barron Easter Parade happening on Saturday 19th April, we would love to see you come along to the FAEC and create a masterpiece for the bonnet parade. Cost $5 per child.
Rollerblading & Scavenger Hunt - 24th April 2025
Join us for two exciting activities – Roller Blading and a Scavenger Hunt at the Emita Sports Ground! Everyone will be split into two groups and take turns enjoying both activities.
BBQ lunch included – please let us know any dietary requirements. If numbers allow, a bus will be provided.
