Join in the School Holiday Program
The Flinders Council School Holiday Program is open to all young residents and visitors 6yrs - 16yrs
How to Participate in Program:
To participate you will need to fill out a 'Permissions Form' for each child for the 2024 Program - Online Permission Form
Alternatively, contact the Community Development Team for your registration forms by emailing community@flinders.tas.gov.au or via phone on 6359 5001
Please note, some activities may provide or require transport, so check when you register. Please note some activities require participants to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Council provides financial and staffing support for the Holiday Program, and receives valuable assistance from a number of local organisations including the Flinders Island Aboriginal Association, Flinders Island District High School.
To help improve the School Holiday Program every year, Council welcomes and encourages suggestions from its young community members. Please contact us if you have an idea or suggestion for future activities, or if you would like to contribute or volunteer.
2024 Spring Program
Jungle Jive - 4th October 2024
Come along to the Jungle Jive for a night of music and fun for everyone. With guest DJs and great food... this is a whole community event!
The party runs from 6 pm to 11 pm, so bring your energy and your best dance moves! Jungle-themed outfits are welcome, or just come as you are and enjoy the fun!

Show Time Crafts - 10th October 2024
Join us for Show Time Crafts, where we'll be making polymer clay keychains, creating a "Surf's Up" themed picture, and sculpting plasticine animals! All these fun projects can be entered into the 2024 Annual Show.
