What is the Duck Pond?
The Duck Pond is an occasional child care centre which began in 1993. It is licensed by the Department of Education to care for up to 14 children at any one time.
We aim to care for children in a safe environment that provides for their social, emotional, physical and intellectual well-being.
The Centre operates under State Government regulations and receives Flinders Council and Commonwealth assistance. The Centre is run as a non-profit organisation to offer the community a choice of quality child care. The Flinders Council is the licensee. Funds are raised by a committee of parents/carers.
