Freight Equalisation Scheme
Peter Hortle & Leigh Watson from Centrelink visited the island met with some businesses about the Freight Equalisation Scheme.

Community Forum with members of the Liberal Party
Will Hodgman, Peter Gutwein and Sue Napier will be visiting the island and would like to conduct a forum with the Flinders Community.
It will be held at the Whitemark Municipal Hall on the 14th September at 11.30am; a light lunch will be provided.

North Planning Strategy Seminar
Attended by about eighteen people Mr Richard Jamieson, as lead of the Regional Planning project for North Eastern Tasmania, gave an outline of the project and what is involved.
The community is encouraged to make comments on the North Planning Strategy Document by the18th December.
