Lady Barron Transfer Station works
Attention Lady Barron Transfer Station users:
To address the ongoing flooding issue, Council will be carrying out works at the Lady Barron Transfer Station.
**On Thursday, 8th June, and Friday, 9th June, the general and hard waste bins will be temporarily relocated outside the main area. They will still be accessible to residents during this time, just in a different location. **
**** There will be no access to dispose of green waste, oil, batteries, glass, and aluminium for these two days.****
Council will be adding more gravel and relevelling the surface to improve drainage. We will also be repositioning the general waste bins for easier access and relocating the green waste on its own to one side.
Council plans that the area will be fully operational by the end of business on Friday, 9th June.
