Planning Scheme 2019 Community Consultation

TASMANIAN PLANNING SCHEME

Invitation to Consultation on the Flinders Local Provisions Schedule

Council will conduct public consultation on the proposed zones/uses and locally specific elements of the Tasmanian Planning Scheme during the week beginning 25th February 2019.

The Strategic Planner will be available daily between the hours of 10.30 am and 4.00pm. There will be a presentation at 12.00 pm and informal discussion during the day. [Please note Lady Barron hours are not the same]

Each day will be allocated to specific localities as per the table below. Only the localities indicated in the timetable will be discussed on the day and at the venue shown.

In addition, there will be two evening sessions which will be a presentation and discussion of the whole island (all localities). The evening sessions are on Monday 25/02/19 and Wednesday 27/02/19.

This is ‘informal’ consultation: the formal/statutory consultation will occur after the Local Provisions Schedule has been submitted to the Tasmanian Planning Commission. The formal consultation period is 60 days. You are encouraged to take advantage of this ‘informal’ opportunity to make your thoughts known prior to submission.
