🌏💙 $4,000 Back in Our Pockets - 40,000 Containers Recycled! 💙🌏

Flinders, you’ve turned rubbish into rewards! Together we’ve now returned almost 40,000 containers through the Recycle Rewards program - that’s around 43 containers for every person on the island, and a massive $4,000 back into our community.

A few fun highlights:

• Aluminium cans lead the way, with more than 29,000 returned.
• Glass bottles are next, with over 8,000 collected.
• Sundays are the community’s favourite recycling day - more than 12,000 containers dropped off!
• Our biggest week so far saw over 6,200 containers returned - a record-breaking effort.

Every container is worth 10c, and every little bit adds up. These numbers aren’t just statistics - they show how much we all care about keeping our island clean, sustainable, and thriving.
