School Holiday Program
The Flinders Council School Holiday Program is open to all young residents and visitors 6 (prep grade) to 25-years-of-age.
Register for our annual program of activities and we will keep you informed of our holiday activities over the year.

Please note, some activities may provide or require transport, so check when you register. Please note some activities require participants to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2017 WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Thurs 13th - Fri 14th July: AFL Tasmania Footy Coaching Clinics. Once you have registered for a session you will be notified by SMS of your session time. The wet weather alternative venue is the Flinders Island District High School Gym. FREE EVENT
Mon 17th & Tues 18th July: Cavaliers Netball Club Coaching Clinics. Once you have registered for a session you will be notified by SMS of your session time. The wet weather alternative venue is the Flinders Island District High School Gym. FREE EVENT.
Fri 21st July: Ghostly Glow in the Dark Dress up for a spooky glow in the dark dancing, games and activities experience!. All ages - 6 years and under with parents. FAEC 5.30pm - 7.30 pm. This is a FREE EVENT.

Council provides financial and staffing support for the Holiday Program, and receives valuable assistance from a number of local organisations including the Flinders Island Aboriginal Association, Flinders Island District High School, and Flinders Island Lions Club.
To help improve the School Holiday Program every year, Council welcomes and encourages suggestions from its young community members. Please contact us if you have an idea or suggestion for future activities, or if you would like to contribute or volunteer.
The Council School Holiday program has a funding contribution from the Rural Primary Health Services Program funded in Tasmania by Primary Health Tasmania.
