The Flinders Council School Holiday Program is open to all young residents and visitors 6yrs - 16yrs
How to Participate in Program:
To participate you will need to fill out a 'Permissions Form' for each child for the 2026 Program - Online Permission Form
Alternatively, contact the Community Development Team for your registration forms by emailing [email protected] or via phone on 6359 5001
Please note, some activities may provide or require transport, so check when you register. Please note some activities require participants to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Council provides financial and staffing support for the Holiday Program, and receives valuable assistance from a number of local organisations including the Flinders Island Aboriginal Association, Flinders Island District High School.
To help improve the School Holiday Program every year, Council welcomes and encourages suggestions from its young community members. Please contact us if you have an idea or suggestion for future activities, or if you would like to contribute or volunteer.
2026 Autumn Activities
Discovery Walk & Beach Clean Up with Parks & Wildlife Ranger Jason, Marshall Bay, Tuesday 21st April - 10.30am
Join us for a fun morning, we will walk the beach and tracks learning about the animals and plants that live in the area. If there is enough interest there will be a bus, first in best dressed. Bookings need to be done through the regsitration form.

Community Film Night, FAEC Whitemark, Friday 24th April - 6pm
This inspiring documentary, directed by Damon Gameau, explores what our world could look like by 2040 if we embrace the solutions already available today — focusing on renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and smarter ways of living.
