On Flinders Island, waste is self-hauled to one of three sites:

• Whitemark Waste Facility
• Lady Barron Waste Transfer Station
• Killiecrankie Waste Transfer Station

General Waste, Glass and Aluminium Cans are accepted at all three sites. The transfer stations are designated for domestic waste loads of up the two cubic meters. Loads larger than two cubic meters should be taken directly to the Whitemark Waste Facility at 419 Memana Road, Whitemark.
